The civic center was transformed into a haunted mansion for The Haunted House of Never Was.

The setting was a home last occupied by Horatio Saunderson, a young, newly-wedded psychiatrist. One room in the house doubled as Horatio's office and in it he would meet with his often deeply-disturbed patients. One of those patients entered into a violent rage during his session, darted out of the office, found Horatio's bride, and murdered her.

After that, Saunderson sank into a depression, closed his practice, cut his ties to the outside world, and disappeared into his mansion.

Nearing 100 years later, people in the neighborhood still reported occasionally seeing lights going on or off in the house or hearing strange noises from within. Could it be possible that someone was living inside or was something even stranger going on?

Thoughts of his bride's killer, locked away in a sanitarium, haunt Horatio Saunderson.
Our guests played the role of the first curious people to enter the home since its master locked its doors. Inside they found either the ghosts or memories of the owner's life: his butler greeted guests, the voices of his patients still echoed in his office, the couple's collection of paintings has changed or come to life, the toys in the nursey for the baby the cople never had sought someone to play with them. And, shut away in the master bedroom, Saunderson still lived, haunted by the memories of his wife and their happily ever after that never was.
