Cap'n Who? |

But who will play the Cap'n? Not Charlton Heston again, I
hope! The last movie was rooned by his lousy acting and the speech he
demanded they put in about how goood guns are.

You fool, Pinky! Charlton Heston is a great actor. He has
never rooned (as you put it) any film. Without him, I don't want to see
another Cap'n Wacky film.

I'm First! |

Look! I'm the first one here! I don't have anything to say
about the movie, having never seen the original - but look! I'm first!
Unless of course earlier messages just haven't been posted yet, then I'd
look stupid. But I doubt it, I know I'm first!

new blood |

Heston was good, but I think we need some new blood if there is
going to be another Cap'n Wacky movie. Cheston is too old! How about
somebody young and hip like James Vanderbeek or Daisy Fuentes!

Captain as Cap'n |
Comment: |
How about The Captain from The Captain and Tenniel as Cap'n
Wacky! He already knows how to wear the hat and could bring his own
costume! Plus, he's already used to people calling him "Captain" ? it
wouldn't be too much of a stretch to switch to listening for "Cap'n".

HEY! |

What rilly matters is who is gonna direct? This may surprize
you, but I think Quentin Tarantino would be a good director for this ?
think about it. He likes the 70s and the original Cap'n Wacky movie was
made in the 70s! It's a perfect match!

director |

Julezrules QT drooling aside, he does raise one good question:
who WILL direct? I heard Heston and Robert Altman did NOT get along on
the set. A re-team seems unlikely.

Whoops. I guess I wasn't first there after all. I see two
messages above mine now. But now I'm the last one! There aren't any
new messages after mine.

Sorry about that. Here's an on topic comment. I think Loopy
had a gud idea. The Captain should play the Cap'n.
